Can the Lollaboard solve this mystery?Twelve years ago, a catchy New Wave anthem appeared on the internet with no information about who wrote or recorded it. Amateur detectives have spent thousands of hours since trying to figure out where it came from — with little luck.

r/TheMysteriousSong, actually. I've been active in there for a couple of months (I'm "arasp" on the Discord) and it's insanely frustrating, like an itch you can't reach. I got the Archive of Contemporary Music mentioned in the article involved and I'm totally convinced that they'd be able to identify it but they charge a lot for research services

That place seems cool in theory but kinda wack in its practices.
