Could you not just 3D print another 3D printer?

Could you not just 3D print another 3D printer? You absolutely can print most of one and then add the motors and things. I don't provide world class support, though, or work out of the box.

The Jeff Rosenstock stream was fantastic tonight, I already bought the shirt he had for it that had his actual tour plan for the year

We have a floor heater in our basement bathroom that is directly under the towel rack. It's lovely.

A top 5 thing about having radiators is being able to throw a towel over them to warm it up

Unrelated but hopefully not stupid, I'm thinking of updating my home audio setup. Any suggestions? It will be in my decent size (for NY) bedroom, so almost exclusively will be used for music (not connected to a tv etc).

What exactly are you looking to do with what existing components?
I assume you have a turntable you're including in this, can it go direct line out or does it need a receiver?

I currently have Audioengine A2+ speakers, not sure if I want to just sell those and start from the ground up, or just enhance what I have with a subwoofer and see how that does.
I got rid of my old cruddy turntable when I moved and I'm eyeing some older ones that would require at least a preamp.

I've gotten real lazy with audio equipment in recent years. A good soundbar or PC speakers with a sub and surround does wonders. Many watts.

Thanks all. Yeah my A2s are really great honestly, but I've had them for a loooong time now, and they're showing some wear for sure. Pushed em a little too far at times and now there's definitely some moments where they are finicky and/or there's certain sound levels and tones that get distorted. Certainly not terrible, but not pristine.
Soooo yeah, split between getting the $300 subwoofer to go with them and hope that that extra umpf will be enough to not make me push the regular speakers to their distortion point. Orrrr say fuck it and go all out on something completely new. Those Q350s certainly seem nice.
Honestly I'm not that much of an audiophile. In general terms, does anyone have thoughts on the adding a subwoofer vs just getting a more powerful pair of new speakers?

I got rid of my old cruddy turntable when I moved and I'm eyeing some older ones that would require at least a preamp. The Douk line is solid and affordable. I have the simple $50 bluetooth-capable speaker power amp and I love it. With one tap of the volume knob, I can swap seamlessly from a record to my bluetooth. They also have preamps that I would be buying if my turntable required one, but i have a built-in preamp. I think you could get a preamp and power amp (separately) from Douk for maybe $200 total. Speakers are great to grab on Black Friday. The ones I have are cheaper than yours so I have nothing to really recommend.

In general terms, does anyone have thoughts on the adding a subwoofer vs just getting a more powerful pair of new speakers? If you think the sound is already at points where its distorted, there is probably relatively minor damage to the speaker horn/tweeter that won't necessarily go away if you add a sub; might help in the short term, but they'll continue to wear and you'll want to replace them eventually. All this coming from an extremely poor boy

Yeah, definitely delaying the inevitable with the A2s. May be best to just go all the way.

Just got my biggest stupid purchase in a while, bought a treadmill for my home since I'm not going to a gym any time soon. Got a Nordictrack one too, so it should be pretty decent. It was pretty much my 20 year anniversary gift for me.

A bag of Sputnik coffee beans.
It is stupid because I don't know how to make coffee out of them. What do I need?

Only like the ground filtered kind. So I just bought a grinder, I assume just put those grounds in the coffee maker I have and I'm good.
