Yeah I mean that he's been in the area, so not like it was a travel issue.
I feel like the other aftershows at least the opener goes on by 10. Idk I could be wrong.

doors at 10, opener at 11 is pretty standard for most aftershows. and Ryan has been playing 2+ hour sets lately so hopefully that trend keeps up and he doesn't cut anything. he doesn't have to be up until like 4 pm tomorrow  |

Spoon was awesome last night. Britt Daniel is too cool. He mentioned writing a song in Ukrainian Village - I didn't realize they ever spent much time in Chicago. (Everything Hits at Once? Anyone remember which one?)
I was pretty much just left of center in front of the sound stage. Some guy pushed his way directly in front of me for the encore & simultaneously made out with his girlfriend & fist pumped for like 6 minutes. He was not cool. Also a lot of very frequent video takers at the Metro last night.

I remember being surprised by that. I was glad we got 'Everything Hits At Once', but I always hope to hear 'The Fitted Shirt' every time I see them. |

im also gonna try to get in line at a decent time because first real DRA show and i want to cry myself to death or something.

I'm either gonna try to be way up on the left on the floor, or maybe in the balcony? idk gonna leave it up to my pal as she is a shorty.
I still have no inkling of how rabidly people will be lining up for this.
And yes I believe that is the poster. Another reason to get there early.
