I haven't been one of the biggest AF fans on the board for a long time, but that set was fantastic. Really loved the transituon from Signs of Life to Rebellion.
Good to finally hang with isyourbedmade a couple of times this weekend

Scary night for me at Arcade Fire. I started feeling lightheaded about halfway through the set and passed out walking out of the crowd. I woke up downstairs surrounded by medics, with Audiobully on the phone with Mrs. Pale Hose. I ended up being okay, likely just dehydrated, but still very disappointing and embarrassing.
Thanks again to Audiobully for looking out for me, and I'm sorry you missed part of the set!

Holy shit, glad you're ok. If you're ever feeling embarrassed just remember that at least you aren't the kid who passed out at 12:17 on the first fucking day.
That kid is also not me but I definitely witnessed that this year.

Pale Hose - glad you're ok and I hope that someone already used the Wake Up joke?

Thanks guys, that's the first time anything like that has ever happened to me. More pissed about missing the back half of the set than anything else, since that's where most of the older material was. I will likely need to go to that UC date now, I will make sure to hydrate better for that one

The Shins were fantastic at the Vic last night. New songs all sounded great and James' voice still holds up well.
I also very nearly passed out for some reason and had to watch the last 3rd of the set from the balcony, but the sound was way better up there. It was weirdly quiet like 10 rows back on the floor but deafeningly loud on the balcony.

Good to hear you were in good hands, PH. I think we've all been there. I know I have a couple times.

Sorry to hear that, dude, but glad you're okay. I had a similar thing happen to me at the LCD Soundsystem return show where I passed out right at the drop of New York I Love You... was dragged out of the crowd by Thissy & Pulp and given water and taken outside for a minute, but made it back in just before the encore started so I didn't end up missing anything. It was 100% a thing of dehydration... have made sure to keep myself hydrated at all costs at shows since then.

Damn, we were wondering where you went! Great job audiobully! And bosma, I think I saw that when that happened... If you were at Kweku Collins it was that for sure then. Otherwise it happened twice which is sad and hilarious at the same time.

Don't really remember being at the show last night. I guess I am going to see them again tonight instead of justice.
I think I'm getting too old for four days of lolla and multiple aftershows haha.

Arcade Fire are cursed I guess. Still haven't been to one without a medical issue with a fried. But seriously, shows don't matter. You all do 1,000+ more so if we got to go, then we're leaving.
Thank you to CG for calming the the fuck down. I had someone looking out for me for sure last night b/c as I was just full on turned up to 11, CG just pops out of the crowd like "HEY! WHAT'S UP??"
Finally got to bed at 445am. Needless to say, I'm tired!
Saw the whole AF show though and it was a ton of fun.

Belated, but CSH were really good on Saturday. They only played one song off of Teens of Style, but the rest of the set is so well put together that it doesn't matter too much. I do wish they would've played 'Something Soon', but no other complaints.
The opener, Gold Connections, were not good. Will did come out and play with them on their last song, though, and that was cool.

Lolla really knocked it out of the park this year with aftershows as I had way more fun attending those than going to the fest itself. Huge shoutout to bqtrain for his +1 FF ticket!

His output has been so prodigious that I'd be surprised if there wasn't a new album in early 2018.

They played what they said was a third version of that song they did for charity last week. The official version will be out next week, but the live version was solid.
No other new songs other than a fine James Brown cover.

Just curious if any of the other Lolla aftershows had posters for sale. Obviously we know Ryan Adams and Foo Fighters had unique posters for their particular nights while Arcade Fire and Spoon did not.

Huge shoutout to bqtrain for his +1 FF ticket! thanks for hooking it up with that AF ticket. foo fighters and arcade fire at the metro on back to back nights? living the dream. I've seen a good amount of AF through the years, but that Wake Up was something else. the metro is the best. also, it was cool meeting some new boarders. everyone I've met on here so far is good people. I'm looking forward to seeing you all at more shows
