Yeah, get a house, it's very easy to pay off the mortgages. Save up a little cash tonight and look for the person selling turnips tomorrow morning between 8 and 12. incredibly dumb question, but does Blathers take your fish or insect donation if its already donated? There were a couple basic things I had Nook view early on and Blathers took it again.

I've moved probably five bricks of turnips for 550-650 on Turnip Exchange this week. Going on in the morning tends to help with the good queues not being totally slammed. I'm in a fluctuating pattern on my island at the moment, nothing big happening this week.
