Arcade Fire had a stellar debut album but not much else. Also, they've never written anything as good as "You Might Think."

I’ve fallen out of love with Arcade Fire to a degree but that 2017 set was so goddamn good

The Cars are one of my favorites and were a big deal through my childhood but their Lolla set was so bad, I don’t remember how they won our bracket.

The Arcade Fire set at the Metro was so fun, that's the only time I've seen them

The Suburbs is pretty overrated and their last two albums are extremely underrated

I love the Cars, but Arcade Fire were my formative "indie" band. I remember listening to my Funeral, Neon Bible, and The Suburbs CDs - bought on Ebay - constantly while riding the bus to high school my freshman and sophomore years.
I am young.

That said, I did run into Ric Ocasek at Zabar's like three or four months before he passed - so my vote's up in the air

My vote is for the Cars. Saw Ric Ocasek on a solo tour at CBGB's which I know has nothing to do with this group match, but that was a lot of fun. Also, buying his CD at the event got a meet-and-greet after the show. I was the only one there. Credit to Ric for coming out and spending 2 minutes talking with me when I'm sure it was probably the last thing he wanted to do at that point.

Arcade Fire was also a formative indie band for me. Also I saw Arcade Fire in 2017 and it was the best of the three times I've seen them despite being on tour for their worst album so points for that.
I've never been huge on The Cars but they are fine
