I did it a few years ago, instantly regretted it, liked it for a couple months, and then regretted it again once I realized how long it took to grow long-ish hair again from nothing.

I voted yes, because there is no better time to shave your head than when no one is obligated to look at you.
I didn’t mind having my head shaved when I did it, but I don’t think I’d do it again.

Pros:
Definitely had a mental break earlier and when's a better time than to go britney
prob have the covid so might as well find out if I look sweet or not
only person who will see me is my partner and she has to live with me anyway
Cons:
it's gonna look absolutely terrible in a month or two if I survive and have to go in public again
if I hate how I look I will be sad
my clippers are not very good and I normally just use them to anxiety shave my face
Its very messy and I just cleaned the bathroom relatively recently

Is this simply a you need a haircut thing? If you give yourself a bad homemade haircut sometimes it grows into an okay haircut. That might be a better option than the full buzz cut.

E also has compound depression and allergies and told me to tell you that you should take AN ACCEPTABLE NUMBER OF benadryl and go to bed. I don't know if that's a lot/advisable so don't quote me on that.

One benefit of shaving your head is you get to see what you'll look like if/when you go bald.
But if you're a guy with long hair I really do advise against it. Seriously takes forever to get it back
