Thought the first hour last night was a bit of a grab bag of stuff they wanted to fit in but didn't have a better place for. Second episode was cool. Love watching prime Barkley.

I agree with all of that. That seemed like a pretty good way to cover the Dream Team and Michael's branding, though as J.A. Adande pointed out on twitter it's really weird to cover the '91 finals and Dream Team and not talk about Magic's HIV announcement.

Kind of related, but I was a big ol' geek as a kid and saved all of the newspapers from when the Bulls won these championships and still have them in pretty good condition in my attic.
I also have a framed Trib front page from the one of the championships that my parents keep telling me they're going to send to me, but it also prominently references Timothy McVeigh, so yeah.

I have the original 3-peat hat and some of the shirts, but I wore the hell out of all of them so they're probably not in great condition. The hat still looks good on me, though.

Theres a store in Wicker Park that exclusively sells shit like this for like $100-500 a shirt regardless of condition and its always full so I dono. |

My best friend found his ticket stub from the Sox/Jays ALCS game that was in the retirement episode. Probably my most memorable Sox game besides the Bo Jackson home run game.

$200 isnt that much and realistically 5 years from now who knows if currency will have any meaning. We could all be hunkered down in masks in basement bunkers after society has completely collapsed but the cups will still be sik.
