Not sure that they'd fit the festival's aesthetic, but the Mt. Joy tour dates seem like they would fit Riot Fest better than Lolla.
Then again, they did do the virtual Lolla last year, so I guess they prob are at Lolla

Outside of those videos from Perry it's been complete silence from Lolla. Feeling less confident of this fest happening this year the further we get into April with no updates.

We've heard that camera operators got a "hold these dates" order for Lolla, volunteer booths are trying to staff, and that there is a permit hold on the site in the past few weeks.
I know it's been especially quiet the last few days, but since all of the other major Chicago festivals have also been fairly silent (barring Riot Fest waking up to respond to the MCR news), I assume they are all working with the city to coordinate a rollout of any re-opening expansion and safety measures relating to large gatherings, and no one wants to get out ahead of that.
In a normal year, that mean time was running out for Lolla, but with the quick sellouts of LiB and Roo, I think organizers are comfortable with a shorter window than normal. If those other big fests were struggling to find an audience, that might not be the case.
Riot Fest called out the first half of May as the timing for the rest of their announcements in their message last week, so I'd say we have a few more weeks before we should get too concerned

Just a Superfan pre-sale installment plan immediately after the 2019 edition -- and I can't imagine that generated a ton of sales since it wasn't discounted in any way. |

Apropos of nothing, the latest date for a Lolla announcement has been April 26, for the 2011 festival. 2009 was announced on April 21, and 2012 was announced on April 11.

In hindsight they probably should have moved to the fall, but I have no idea what the logistics would have been for using Grant Park then. |
