They were riding that reunion buzz to headlining in 2016 and even then I felt like they weren't drawing huge crowds. I'd figure them a sub at majors and headliner at smaller fests moving forward |

I can't see LCD subbing at Lolla, Bonnaroo, ACL or Coachella personally. Yeah they had a good crowd at Lolla that year. I forgot Gorillaz will be active next summer and I'd rather see than at Lolla next year than LCD so just switch them out

I can't see LCD at Lolla again tbh, though I would LOVE them to, were one of the best Lolla sets I've ever seen. The reunion hype is gone and I just don't see the Lolla crowd caring again. I guess they'd be a Pitchfork headliner heading forward. Or even a RiotFest headliner given their history of kinda-off-brand headliners.

Ya the difference between seeing LCD at Lolla compared to Pitchfork was quite insane. The energy and set was so much better at Lolla.

I'm already assuming Lorde is a lock for 2021. New music coming soon, will for sure be doing the festival tour next year and was obviously cut short last time.
