I'd encourage people who are interested to watch at least the Q+A portion of the presser where they preview the Vax Pass concept in more detail. The most relevant portion starts at 37:26 and has a few follow-ups (including the Lolla specific question she dodged): www.facebook.com/watch/live/?v=510670016628454&ref=watch_permalinkMy guess is if this program is able to come together (and I doubt they'd be talking so openly about it if it wasn't very close), the requirements for attending Lolla and other major festivals in the city in 2021 will probably be something like this: - Attendees must be 16 or older
- Vaccination will be required and must be verified through their Vax Pass program prior to the festival (which will link to your wristband)
- Wristbands will be non-transferable once registered and require picture ID upon entry scan
- Unregistered wristbands will be cancelled/voided
Additional speculation: In addition to the MCR delay, this may also be a factor in Riot Fest allowing people to wait for the full 2021 announcement to decide whether to roll over their passes to 2022. |

Not overly familiar with Pride in the Park, but it seems like something that attracts a decent sized general admission crowd to Grant Park. They announced they have an approved safety plan and are a go for a late June event. They already have some preliminary health guidelines on their site as well. Just realized this vax pass is gonna bite me in the ass. I wanted to buy a four day ticket and use the wristband on Thursday and Sunday since I have a bachelor party that Friday and Saturday and let my girlfriend or someone use Friday and Saturday, but if I'm tied to the ticket I feel like I won't be able to do that? Same situation for Pitchfork if I don't like all three days I feel like. I've definitely split that three day ticket with bosma I think so I didn't have to go all three days. This is what I get for trying to be cheap and game the system I guess lol
