A few weeks ago people were doubting we'd even get an outdoor festival this year, now we may get aftershows too. Wild.
As for the line-up, I am still skeptical that Lizzo is going to be there. I am not sure if their commitment differs because they never announced last year, but I think if there's one act you probably try to swap out this cycle it's her. Still hoping they manage to pull a Dua Lipa one off before she starts her EU run in September.
Kendrick Lamar/Foo Fighters/Post Malone/Billie Eilish
Dua Lipa/Journey/A$AP Rocky/Gnarls Barkley
Foo Fighters vs A$AP
Post vs. Journey
Kendrick vs. Dua (God no)
Billie vs. Gnarls
Lining it up that way, Lana might make more sense as a counter to say Kendrick -- but I can't see any of her current material working in a large scale festival setting.
Megan the Stallion plays but doesn't headline (closer for Kendrick or A$AP?). Cardi B is a big wildcard as well, but I kind of think she skips 2021 at this point.

Hey long time lurker here since the old board. This will be my first time to be the one purchasing the tickets to Lolla assuming this is happening. How do we all think this is going to happen as far as lineup announcement, tickets on sale, single days and single day lineups? I know everything is speculative due to the nature of this year just wondering how things have happened in the past and what to possibly expect. Would love to do 4 days but unsure if I can make it happen yet, but I'm gonna have to be there for Kendrick.

They still have plenty of time to work with, so I would bet the follow the past pattern of announcing the full lineup with 4 days on sale right after, then doing the single days a week or so later |

But I agree that they will wait until next year. She is supposedly the next "big" tour Live Nation is looking at and I assume they would rather wait until next year when everything is back to normal and can really knock it out of the park. |

Based on what's been leaked, acts headlining other festivals and who was booked for last year I'd be surprised if the top 4 is not some combination of Post, Kendrick, Foos, Lizzo, and Billie. That's going to be a big- expensive top 4. I missed the news on the new Billie album but yeah she's gotta be a Mortal Lock for this fest now |

This is shaping up to be a really fortunate cycle for Lolla. Potentially the first major fest back, a slate of significant artists who have not done Lolla in at least an album cycle and have new material dropping. Could be the biggest/most relevant top 4 they've had in ages.
Also, as someone who adored St. Elsewhere and never got to see them live, I'll happily be one of the dozens to attend a Gnarls Barkley set as long as they're not up against Kendrick.

Could Mark Ronson headline? Yeah, I feel like a "Mark Ronson and Friends" set would be a much bigger deal (and less of a PR nightmare) than Gnarls Barkley at this point. |

My last time seeing Modest Mouse was at Pitchfork like 10 years ago which was pretty meh. Maybe i'll give them another chance depending on the schedule.
