He's really proud of that booking, huh? If it's real, he should be. I know modern Lolla doesn't have the cachet around it that Coachella and even Roo have, but it's one of the premier music events in the country and an international brand. Journey landing a headlining slot in 2021 is a real achievement for any band at this stage of their career.

I don't disagree with anything you said, but Neal Schon is as accomplished a musician as there is. You'd think he could act like he's been there before.

That’s what white people say when a black player does a touchdown celebration.

SELL OUT BLIND

It'd be a cruel joke to put tickets on sale before the lineup is announced. It makes sense to do lineup tomorrow, do the the day by day schedule early and then put tickets on sale Wednesday all at once. Or do lineup, then 4 days and then day by days and then put day tickets on sale.

Is Lolla really doing this?
Will Def Leppard be a get for '22?

Def Leppard would be the best band to play Lolla in five years.

I would honestly love to see some Pyromania and Hysteria songs, but not at Lolla prices.

Also I’m not sober enough to find this but how much will a 4-day run this year? I don’t think I’ve paid for this festival since 2017

As long as we're asking what do we think it will cost for a single day? Last time I went for a single day (2017) I think it was like $140?

Yeah, I got 2 passes for $795 in 2019.
That Chicago Amusement Tax adds about $38 per pass, and I doubt they scaled that back after missing a year's worth of revenues. They also stopped including service fees in the ticket prices a few years back, and that's around $20 per pass.
So my quick math is the "price" of the 4-day GA was $340 before all that. Long past the days of the golden ticket.

Chicago Amusement tax is definitely still a thing. That added like $20 onto my Pitchfork ticket today.
