My brother just used the phrase "appealing only to white hypebeasts" to describe this lineup so I guess that's where we're at, whatever that means. Change my "Living in the death zone" text to "White hypebeast" please. |

I like how we were wondering what was left for Perrys with all the other EDM fests and then there ends up being two EDM main stage headliners.

I'll be super curious to see how it sells. I do think it's going to sell out because of the pandemic, but last year was the first year where tickets were available for quite a while and that skewed to a super young audience like this did. I'm quite surprised. It's not like Journey and Limp and gonna move tickets to this.

Alright, after looking through this a bit more, it's clearly just the headliners that are killing this for me. It's a much deeper Lolla than usual in every other regard.
Miley has to be a South headliner right? No way she's up against the Foos? If that's the case, I can at least eek Foos - Miley - Journey out of this and reserve the 4th night for after shows or some Grove shit.

Yea this is the best rap lineup Lolla's had in ages (ever? idk I don't want to check the receipts). Like, props to them - it is DEEP (seriously, check out Sa-Roc on the very bottom). But there is laughbly little for anyone else. Def an easy skip for me, but this would be a fun time for a day or two if I was in Chicago. Maaaybe if Miley day is good I'd make a day trip of it.

Yeah I think the over/under on this selling out is about 90 minutes this afternoon. Say what you will about the quality but this is clearly designed to move tickets.
