Did anyone try to do the free four day pass for vaccinated people thing yesterday? I'm assuming not based on no posts here. I kinda forgot it was happening but Reddit makes it sound like it was a shitshow.

Said it was hard to find the link on webpage, and when they finally posted it and she clicked on it they said tickets were already unavailable |

Look if I can't bring my usual non see-thru bag to the fest and additionally can't get free water throughout the park when the goddamn lake is literally a block and a half away, I think JB Pritzker should get an executive order to stop this shit from happening.
Also this lineup is still pretty passable!

The management of the water stations is no longer under the volunteer program...but water stations are not going away. I don't expect you'll see any reduction in water availability during the festival (but, this last comment is my interpretation, not confirmed knowledge). Also, as I understand it, Kidzapalooza may be eliminated/modified this year as well. My guess here is that they don't expect a lot of kids to attend based on the vaccination entry requirements but this adjustment is expected to temporary...not permanent. I guess we'll see. Also, my apologies for the premature posting back on June 17. They posted the landing page on the 17th, but Mookie is right that the applications just became available today. If anyone applies for a volunteer role and has difficulties being accepted, contact me by DM. |

BTW...since there are far fewer teams this year, there is a much smaller need for volunteers.
If anyone is thinking about this route, I'd urge you to complete the application sooner rather than later. It's far easier to cancel a job that you've requested than it is to try to get in once they're full.

I do know what they're planning (subject to change, of course), and I stick by my interpretation that you won't see any reduction in water (and, I fully expect that water to be free). |

Doubt this affects anyone's plans, but I heard from a friend who works for a vendor that was going to be working Kidzapalooza that they were officially told this afternoon that Kidzapalooza is cancelled this year, but planning to return in 2022. Kids 10 and under still get in free with parents. There just won't be a Kidz stage or any of the kid-centric activities surrounding it. |

1. Comply with the "Lollapalooza Fan Health Pledge" (basically, I won't come to Lolla if I might have Covid)
2. Bring a printed copy of vaccine card/records or negative test results.
3. Bring your Festival Wristband.
Also, looks like kids need negative results since they can't get vaccines.

This is interesting from the updated FAQs:
The way that is worded would lead me to believe one test is sufficient for the four days. Wonder if that is true for kids too since they don't get wrist bands.
