I was poking around clashfinder and noticed that their is one for just Perry's stage if that is your thing and don't want to be bothered by the 6-7 stages.

1) I think it was asked here earlier whether people testing (instead of proving vaccination) would need multiple tests across the weekend. As of now, the answer is yes (city rules may change). If you test on Monday, you're good for Thursday...but not Friday through Sunday. You'd have to provide another test within 3 days of each day of admission. Maybe this is common knowledge, if so, my apologies.
2) The entry sequence this year appears to be: Covid test/Vaccination proof, Wristband, *then* bag check. I'm not sure I understand checking bags last (what happens if someone gets turned away because of what they're carrying...are they going to be swimming upstream to get out if they don't want to dump their shit?) but that's what it looks like.
3) Water this year will be self service and touchless. Knowing how the water stations worked in the past, and all the kids that came up trying to drink from the spigot because they didn't have a bottle...I'm hopeful that the new "touchless" distribution system will somehow prevent people from *actually* touching (whether with fingers, lips, or whatever) anything critical to the distribution process.

I think the process in #1, if accurate, is going to catch a lot of people off guard. It makes sense to me, but many people think it's one negative test within 72-hours and they you're set for the weekend. Could make for some messy situations come Sat/Sun. They really need to to barrage people with the requirements in the days ahead.
I kind of understand the entry sequence outlined in #2 as your first priority is to verify someone's vax/testing status, second it to verify they registered the wristband and that it aligns with the name on the COVID documents. Maybe that last part isn't happening, but registration is required this year even if they aren't cross checking with medical info and will be hard to enforce that right as they step into the park.
No idea if pat downs are still part of the equation, but security would probably be the least distance point and so you want to protect your workers back having that after those verification points. It can also be the most time consuming, so you'd want to filter out people who aren't going to make it into the park anyway.
I imagine no matter what the way the lines flow this year will have to be different. They'll need to route for escorting people out of the line at multiple points which just isn't possible in the "sea of humanity" approach that we've often seen in the past. I certainly don't envy the people who have had to plot this out and try and train such a large staff in such a short time.

I can't believe this weird year is when Lolla was finally able to secure sponsorships for most of their stages again. I figured brands would be hesitant to be associated with a mass gathering like this before COVID was fully addressed.
Oh man, Solana is a blockchain/crypto company? Big RussFest energy.

Maybe this is common knowledge, if so, my apologies. This is probably because they have changed the wording since they initially published their FAQ. This is what it said initially: And this is what is says now: They removed the "of first" in that statement. Add this to their super unclear (HA!) bag policy and their messaging needs a lot of work. But that is par for the course.

They are giving free extra tickets away to people who bought a ticket to Journey at the Aragon. Wild. I know they said they were gonna film the show so I'd imagine they're trying to have it not look empty. Tickets to this are down to $64.50 before fees, weren't they originally over $100? Also the show starts at 9pm, was that always the case? It's not possible for people who are coming from the fest to watch the headliners and catch this show, although I doubt there are many people who that actually presents a conflict for. Edit: CPF had previously posted tickets came to $164 after fees. It sounds like they cut prices in half and offered an additional ticket to people who already bought. How badly did this show sell?

Just found out I won Sunday tickets to this from a radio station, so I'll be there Thursday and Sunday. Between those two days, a bachelor party on Friday and Saturday and the Freddie Gibbs after show on Sunday night I'm about to have a fucking time lmao

I’m rooting for the secondhand market to continue tanking. I’ve seen a couple 4 day passes under $300 after fees on stubhub but hoping they continue to slide. We’ll see what happens

Any success with Do312 contests so far? I saw in another group someone won Journey tickets (because of course) but anything about other shows.

Between the weather, the delta variant, and my wanting to do shit, I’ve decided I’m gonna be sad if I sit this one out this year. I can imagine how I’d feel if the lineup was worth a damn

My friend agreed with me, I think there's a very high chance Jimmy Eat World does an album set Friday at Metro, since Bleed American just turned 20. Plus I don't think the have played the songs from the newest album live very much yet. Putting my money on the Bleed American set though.

I've given this a lot of thought and I certainly wouldn't count it out (especially after all the full-album sets they did over the pandemic), but then I remembered they also took Clarity, BA, and Futures back out on the road for each's respective 10th anniversary. They don't really seem like a band that would be interested in doing that exact thing again for the 20th, although the aftershow is a unique enough play that they could definitely do it as a one-off.

They are calling for rain on Sunday (the only day I'll be there), hoping that changes before the fest.. I've had a good time at Lolla in the rain, but for my first fest in 2 years it would be a bit of a bummer.

that black cherry bud light seltzer that lolla is selling for $11, is only $6.99 at the wrigleyville jewel-osco, and the latter comes in a souvenir aluminum can.
