I wonder how many bottles of wine I could put back at this fest. Probably like 1 & 1/2 I did two in 2017 and had no memory of being at the Arcade Fire aftershow. Have the photos on my phone to prove it though. Do not recommend. |

I would be more upset about the water prices if there weren't free purified refille stations all over the park. Lolla has also always been good about passing out free water on dangerously hot days, and making sure people by the barricades get water. Coachella on the other hand has had $2 waters for a while, but it's essentially lord of the flies if you are short on cash or not close to a vendor. Seen people drinking from the non-potable hand wash stations and bathroom sinks. 312 went up a buck this year, they changed the Seltzer to bud light, but know that people will pay up for it anyway so they added $2 to that. Bud Light is the same price (though it went up from $8 a few years back when they got rid of 12 oz cans). The wine bottle went from $30 to $38 but it's still the best ABV value (outside of maybe some craft beer garden selections). I miss the general beer selection of ACL, but know Lolla is just pretty wedded to the Bud relationship at this point. |

1) I think it was asked here earlier whether people testing (instead of proving vaccination) would need multiple tests across the weekend. As of now, the answer is yes (city rules may change). If you test on Monday, you're good for Thursday...but not Friday through Sunday. You'd have to provide another test within 3 days of each day of admission. Maybe this is common knowledge, if so, my apologies. 2) The entry sequence this year appears to be: Covid test/Vaccination proof, Wristband, *then* bag check. I'm not sure I understand checking bags last (what happens if someone gets turned away because of what they're carrying...are they going to be swimming upstream to get out if they don't want to dump their shit?) but that's what it looks like. 3) Water this year will be self service and touchless. Knowing how the water stations worked in the past, and all the kids that came up trying to drink from the spigot because they didn't have a bottle...I'm hopeful that the new "touchless" distribution system will somehow prevent people from *actually* touching (whether with fingers, lips, or whatever) anything critical to the distribution process. Lol at the "vaccination proof". Anybody can buy a fake card online for $5 and then fill it in. And, even if the name matched your ID, the card proves nothing without the ability to vetify the authenticity through a 3rd Party health care registry. Lolla ain't got time for that. And, totally Lmao at the FBI BS... Anybody with a FAKE Vax Card only needs to have the name match the ID. Total Superspreader Event. |
