missed the express train home last night and almost missed the all stop backup... because i tried to go to lost and found to check if anyone turned in my backup battery pack... and the line was so long that i just didn't wait I think they start posting the stuff online so you can peruse I checked out the website standing by lost and found last night. No one turned it in yet (but they had 88 cell phones at 10pm, and someone's vaccination card) |

Anyone have any recommendations of bands worth a damn today? Thinking I might just come down for Tyler honestly given my situation unless I get the green light to log off work early. As of now the earliest I think I can get down there would be like 6pm White reaper were good at riot fest in 2019 but I've seen them so I'll probably grab a spot on the cooling Bus and listen to Subtronics drop some dubstep? Today is my weakest day, because I want to see 8 acts... 4 are all at the same time and are acts I've already seen before (marshmello, Omar apollo, $uicideboy$, Tyler) Gonna try to see grandson, emotional oranges and elephant heart I think |

Yesterday was an A+ day
My only complaint and it's nothing Lolla can control was how much of a crowded shitshow the red line was after the fest. If catch a breakthrough infection it's going more likely that it's going to come from there and not at the festival

my shot in the dark guess would be they’re repped by hinds’ agent and were offered in the same transaction as the cancellation that sounds perfectly reasonable. and this has happened with a few acts already this weekend. but i like the idea of a fest having a taxi squad. They're all hanging out in a ballpark in Schaumburg. |

Already two assholes on the red line going to lolla not wearing masks Yesterday I was heading to the fest at the same time that the Cubs game got out and after Belmont it was nuts to butts on the train and 90% of people had no mask. Maybe 5% of the Cubs fans were wearing them. Miserable. |

I was at the exit at the end of my shift, and several dozen kids attempted to crash the gate at that exact moment. So that was fun.
There were several news cameras pointing right at the exit, so that seemed like a really great idea.

This festival did not have to happen, and they did not have to relax the testing requirements beforehand. Even Arwardy is saying that they are expecting that people will get sick, but they're just hoping that it's not that bad. |

Like you said, baseball games, cfb games, nfl games, etc. Lolla is one of the few large events at least trying to make sure everyone is safe. It's annoying that Lolla is getting a bad rap |
