Depends on the cooking method, what you’re making, what veggies they are

What if I’m just trying to make a decent male as a young 20-something single male
Edit: actually that wording is fine

Frozen green beans are a million times better than canned so that was the right call.

depends on the veggies but canned ones are generally preserved better. freezing fucks up the textures and nutrients way more. but canned can also have that 'preservative' flavor if you dont wash them thoroughly and let them sit out for a bit (unless it's like chipotle peppers or something you want that sauce for but generally most canned veggies i've used have a good balance of vinegar and salt to make that sauce still taste fine)
basically you can get away with either but i run on the gordon ramsay method of never freezing anything unless it's like stock piling meat for a long period of time

I used to eat a couple cans of green beans per week which is a window into my diet as a teenager.

Green beans are one thing I mostly always have fresh. So easy to saute a massive pan of them, eat some and then throw the rest in tupperware for the next couple of days and just have to do that twice a week. Also they seem to keep eatable longer than most other veggies while raw in the fridge.
I once told someone that if I could have a useless super power it would be to be able to have a huge pile of un-snipped raw green beans and have them all snip without me doing anything, and I think that still holds up. Only bad part about green beans.
I really love frozen broccoli. Too easy to just throw it in a microwave to steam vs steaming from raw.
I pretty much only used canned for like green bean casserole and things like that.
