They're also announcing more album plays tomorrow. Still holding out hope for an Interpol add playing TOTBL.

They're also announcing more album plays tomorrow. Still holding out hope for an Interpol add playing TOTBL. Yeah, it seems like such a natural booking and would be a great add. They also keep making My Chemical Romance references on their Twitter and blog. I think it's mostly a running gag from when MCR sent people into a frenzy last year with some vague teasers, but if they are looking to plug-in another headline tier act, that would certainly be a big get.

I'm not sure why you guys expect a headliner-level add tomorrow... Highest we might get is maybe Mastodon, the majority of the adds will all be the bottom lines otherwise

They tend to add a few bigger acts and then the rest are like mookie said, bottom fillers.
That's why I'm expecting Mastodon, EODM and one more to go with fillers.

Not the case this year.

i think Prodigy might be a more ample example -- we're definitely not getting another headliner, but maybe a stage closer aside from the main

Just noticed the FLips were added with the second wave announcement last year too, so I guess it could happen.
Speaking of which, since I'm sure it will be asked today, single day lineups were put out on June 28th last year.

ATDI is great but I'm sad no Goldfinger or Interpol.

There is no justification for this, but The Afghan Whigs and ATDI are the same band in my head.

So 5 acts still unannounced? Didn't they say they'd be adding 25 more acts. Only 20 that I can tell. I bet Intepol performing TOTBL gets announced later on.

Yeah, that's mostly disappointing. ATDI, Mad Caddies and Cockney Rejects are cool, though.

That's pretty underwhelming. ATDI will be cool, at least.
Gotta figure Cap'n Jazz will play Schmap'n Shmazz in full.

ATDI is great but I'm sad no Goldfinger or Interpol. No, you aren't. The entire band is gone except Feldman. In addition, the former members HATE him. Apparently they are a train wreck these days which is why I assume they won't book them at RF.
