thunder traded trevor ariza (who hadn't played for okc since he got traded here) to miami for meyers leonard and a 2nd-round pick (because okc likes their draft picks!)
i know leonard has had controversy surrounding him recently (and also out for the rest of the season with an injury) but it was interesting the thunder had this in their press release:
Leonard will not be reporting to Oklahoma City and will not be an active member of the organization.

Those picks could be quite valuable but I do like the move. Vucevic is very good. If they can get a really good return for Lauri they start looking good

Agree with clouddead and the goodest son. I've been a big Vucevic fan for a while, so I love this move.
If they can pull off Lauri for Lonzo, or really anybody competent, I'd be thrilled.

My strong preference would have been to blow it up and trade away Lauri, Zach, and Coby as well, but this trade is fine. Good for both sides.
Not too worried about the 2023 pick since the team can easily recoup firsts that year by trading LaVine/Vucevic/Patrick Williams if they want to wait to blow it up.
