His contract is truly wild. 38 million in 2024! It's not like he's a scrub. Dude is an unbelievable defensive player who has a ton of strengths and is the 2nd best player on a 1-seed. The Simmons/Embiid pair clearly doesn't work for a title team but if he's essentially your big (a la Draymond), then he can still be special. I think a trade to Portland for CJ makes sense for both sides. |

I think it's one thing to be offensively inept and another to have the yips, and he clearly has the yips. To have a wide open layup and pass the ball off to a dude surrounded by Hawks players is just a perfect showcase for the dude's psyche right now.

From a parity standpoint, I’m glad the #1 pick (and 4 of the top 5) are going to eastern conference teams. Will be fun to see Cade Cunningham multiple times a year.

Can't seem to find the exact vid on YT, but I shared it to my FB. The moment where Ayton scores the magic dunk and the crowd explodes... they pan over and Stephen A. Smith and Mike Wilbon are like dumbstruck. Just a great a moment that made me laugh.
