I'm amused that any sports league is attempting to not go the bubble route. It's maniacal. can't imagine an entire league of players in the bubble for like 6 months, 7 if you're in the playoffs. Precisely. It's not an ideal time to be playing full seasons in public venues, imho. I get that ad revenue is lost. I'm not confused as to why. I thought the NFL season was relatively disastrous. They delayed one game because of covid concerns, but then let another team go without all of their quarterbacks. It's a mess.  |

I think it's dumb that they rushed back this quickly, particularly with how badly everything is going right now across the country. NFL is limping to the finish line and college sports are delaying games left and right - how were they expecting a sport that has to play more games per week to survive through this?

You do have to set your lineup every day and not leave active players on your bench. I'm not sure that's super clear for folks not used to playing fantasy b-ball.

I was a 17 yr old bar busser at a real popular Scottsdale mexican joint during the 93 Finals. That was a really great job. I redacted out back much and could carry many margarita glasses at once. I also washed dishes with the lead singer of (George Lynch's) Lynch Mob one night. Immigration came through and wiped that restaurant clean and he was called in to help by the owner's son. Shit was a trip. |

Man, I never really thought about how fucked up that was until revisiting that. AZ blows. Glad I left that state (it's so beautiful, though).
Also, I can't deal with twins on the same team. I don't remember which one got ejected. His name starts with a C.
Speaking of Cs, our babbies got trash time last night! They need to put a couple of these guys down in the G league a couple weeks like right now, imho.
