I'd do it for science's sake but pickling is really in now and it's telling that this pie hasn't really left Utah. it's probably just all the ingredients that kept long enough in brigham young's caravan.

Don't let this pie's name fool you. Rather than saltiness and acid, this pie is rich with sweetness, much like a chess pie. A slightly tangy crunch from the pickle, which tastes more like relish, comes through on the back end.

Weird thread. What's the recipe that is gross? I've had meat pies that have incorporated pickles which from googling seems what most pickle pies are? Have also had kool aid pickles before they are fine that's pretty classic state fair shit.
