V v good except for the food situation. Ended up bailing early on Phoebe, but pretty much every set we saw ripped.

That was definitely an almost A+ day of music. The only bit of a letdown was Phoebe's set, I don't know that she's at headliner level at this point.
But yeah, the food situation was awful. The lines were horrible nearly the entire night. Hope they improve that tomorrow

AC had no energy until Purple Bottle, which was super fun. Black Midi and Big Thief were easily the best two acts of the day for me, Charles Barkley. I really wanted Phoebe to be better. I'll give it a 2 out of 4 hoops!

Thanks to everyone I came in contact with today for helping make my 40th an absolute blast.  Best sets were Phoebe, Dogleg, Kelly Lee Owens and Hop Along. Worst things were the dust, the insane lines for everything in the evening, and Animal Collective Cy'all tomorrow. |

Dogleg ruled so hard. I liked the Phoebe set a lot but I think it'd be better in a venue than a fest. I do wish Animal Collective would at least for fests not do the mostly play unreleased material schtick they do even though I did like some of the new songs, but "The Purple Bottle" is one of my all time favorites and I'm so glad I got to see it.
Do hope that the food and drink line situation is better today. I'm probably going in a bit late because I don't have any must sees until that Waxahatchee/Faye Webster conflict

Kelly Lee Owens was my favorite set, so much fun. Phoebe was fine but definitely fell flat. Could argue her music isn't the best to close a fest but still felt like something wasn't there despite that.

I thought they sounded great, but that was a tough festival set. Probably would’ve enjoyed it more in a club setting.
