Is Pitchfork just going to slowly reveal its lineup by allowing each artist to announce their own tour with a very obvious gap? I'm not sure what's going on with Pitchfork and Lolla. The city hasn't approved any festival permits for this year but that hasn't stopped other festivals like Riotfest, Arc and Summer Smash from announcing lineups and selling tickets. |

The city hasn't approved any festival permits for this year but that hasn't stopped other festivals like Riotfest, Arc and Summer Smash from announcing lineups and selling tickets. To be fair Riot Fest started selling tickets like a year ago, and have since stopped. I'm not sure what sort of green light they're waiting on, but it seems like it would be wise to not have Pitchfork, Lolla, and Riot Fest not all announce at the same time. |
