The COVID restrictions for this are interesting. Proof of vaccination or a negative test result within 24 hours each day. So if you're unvaccinated and going for the full weekend you're going to have to find the time to go get tests done. What a pain that would be which... good!

Just looked at purchasing a Friday ticket. About $109 with fees. Not sure I want to pull the trigger.

Its really convenient for me to do this year and I think I might The tradition is that P4k constantly tweets "it's nearly sold out!!!" then has tickets available up til fest time. I think 2018 or 2017 was really, really full, but I don't recall if they ever actually said it was sold out. |

I bought a ticket. Screw it. I'm flying into Chicago the weekend before to do some stuff in Indiana and Michigan, and I think I'm just going to extend the trip through the next weekend and add some Chicago days and do the Friday and Saturday of this.
The 3 day ticket was only $10 more than buying individual Friday and Saturday tickets so I just did that. I'm not sure if giving someone my ticket for Sunday is an option with the Covid protocols, but if it is I'd let someone have it for Sunday for the cost of buying me some beers.

there is nothing besides angel olsen that I would want to see. the one day pitchfork tickets are basically the same price as the 3 day 2020 now 2021 riot fest ticket. It's set for one week before this yr's riot fest. Very easy to pass up pitchfork 2021.

Good line-up, and one that doesn't really seem to detract from what Lolla would want to book (outside of Phoebe, but that always seemed like an obvious P4K pull). I won't be around for it, but it definitely stands on it's own in a crowded festival landscape.
