Who plans on seeing the boys next year? I'm hoping to make the 10/8 ATL show happen.

Go look at what I said about the on sale experience in the upcoming shows thread. Also yes

Definitely seeing them next year but haven't decided when so I guess I'm testing the secondary market
Austin is the only driving distance one but it's on a Tuesday which means I might have to take PTO for it which I'd rather not. Might make a trip out of a weekend show

I wonder who they'll have open for them at these shows as there's like 11 million bands that have copied them

Definitely will see them at Primavera and I'll try to get in via the secondary market for one of the Chicago Theater shows

Since Carl wants some discussion I guess I will pose the question of who likes what albums in what order:
I have Slanted and Crooked Rain on vinyl like every good sad suburban hipster but I've been going back to Wowee Zowee songs a lot in the last ~year. I only like a couple songs on Brighten the Corners (note- I probably haven't listened to this album since someone on here talked about it in 2010) and I don't think I've ever listened to Terror Twilight because enough people have said I don't have to

I honestly haven't listened in awhile but Brighten the Corners has a special place in my heart because it's the album that really got me hooked. Unfortunately that came after my one and only opportunity to see them at Lolla '95.

I might go to the KC show, though the date is a ways off. I saw them in '97 only knowing a few songs by them.

1. Crooked Rain 2. Brighten the Corners 3. Wowee Zowee 4. Slanted and Enchanted 5. Terror Twilight
My hot take is that Malkmus' self-titled debut would slot in juuust below Crooked Rain

Brighten the Corners is sooo good - but I may be biased by having a CD copy of that an constantly listening to it in HS
