Just curious if we're meeting our quota of troop respecting these days by taking the day off or not. I'm working today but I think I get it off starting next year? Probably better that I'm working given my mental state currently and how crappy the weather is in Chicago right now

i do not have the day off. my partner technically does have the day off. but many of her coworkers are overseas, so she is still joining calls with them between GBBO episodes.

I was [redacted] at a basketball game and saw people standing up beside me and thought "hey, I should stand up, too!" They had asked people who served in the military to stand and I stood there like a dope.
So basically I'm a veteran.

I was [redacted] at a basketball game and saw people standing up beside me and thought "hey, I should stand up, too!" They had asked people who served in the military to stand and I stood there like a dope. So basically I'm a veteran. This happened en masse at the Bulls game last night. No way were all the people who stood up troops. For some reason they brought the Customs and Border Patrol Color Guard out for the anthem?  ? What the fuck |

before i biked to work, there was a guy who i passed between the train and office almost every day. the monday after pitchfork, he was always wearing a t-shirt of the fest or some band that played it.

My son is home sick however, so MPH and I are both splitting caring for him while trying to WFH. Not fun!

I didn’t do shit this weekend and I’m working. But it’s thankfully a comparatively light day, so far. I have Friday scheduled off for a quick trip that has since been cancelled. Debating whether to just take the three day weekend anyway.
