So this All In thing coming to the Sears Center sounds like it's going to be awesome? I wouldn't call myself a huge wrestling fan but I have been tracking that event and when I saw this morning they announced it was going to be here I felt like I should probably go.... are people going to go?

I don't follow the current product anymore but my younger brother is a huge ROH fanboy and plans to fly out for it so I'm expecting I may be there.

Randy Orton hasn't been interesting for damn near a decade, but he had a damn good match with Bobby Roode last night.

I will give them credit, I'm intrigued by what they're doing with Cena and also Shane.
Takeover looks like it could eclipse the main show, but hopefully not.
Updated... last year had three preshow matches and ten on the main card.
Placeholdermania 34: Roman Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar (c) -- Universal Title Shinsuke Nakamura vs. AJ Styles (c) -- WWE Title Finn Balor vs. Seth Rollins vs. The Miz (c) -- Intercontinental Title Bobby Roode vs. Jinder Mahal vs. Randy Orton -- United States Title Asuka vs. Charlotte (c) -- Smackdown Women's Title Nia Jax vs. Alexa Bliss (c) -- Raw Women's Title The New Day vs. The Bludgeon Brothers vs. The Usos (c) -- Smackdown Tag Team Titles TBD vs. The Bar (c) -- Raw Tag Team Titles Ronda Rousey/Kurt Angle vs. Stephanie McMahon/Triple H John Cena vs. TBD
Preshow: TBD vs. TBD -- Cruiserweight Title Andre the Giant Battle Royal

Kid Rock is getting inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. Make America Badass Again I've said this on the board several times before, but it warrants asking again: Why not Lemmy?

Looks like they're trying to make Roman more Stone Cold and less The Rock, and it seems to be working based on the crowd reaction.
Also, Cena vs. Taker is going to be awful.

lesnar/reigns, cena/taker, and the ronda thing are all fucking terrible ways to end mania. but actually the rest of the card looks much better than i thought it'd be.
so basically just slowly day drink myself to death before 9 pm

Saw a theory earlier today about a double-turn, with Roman acting like the Rock at Survivor Series 1998 (won't happen).
They seem to be proceeding with Braun winning the tag titles on his own.

I'll forever be pessimistic about this stuff, but I'm guessing AJ/Nakamura goes on first and gets about 12-15 minutes as opposed to the 30 minutes it should be getting to close the show.
The time it will take Taker to enter/exit the ring will exceed the total amount of time of the AJ/Nakamura segment.

I... think Daniel Bryan is returning at Wrestlemania. What a good ending to Smackdown.

The idea of Nakamura kicking Bryan in the head makes me feel a little queasy.

Wow! And yeah, uncomfortable with it still.
Love Miz's commitment to kayfabe haha. Potential dream matches: Angle, AJ, Joe, Balor, Nakamura, Sami, KO... dang. Smackdown is must-see tonight as he is opening the show.

Can we add Daniel Bryan to the Miz, Rollins, Balor clusterfuck at wrestlemania?
OR
can he interfere to start setting up an angle between him at Miz for summerslam?

This Daniel Bryan thing seems like such a bad idea but he’s a grown man who can make his own decisions

I see no scenario where this doesn't turn into KO/Zayn vs. Bryan/Shane in a "loser leaves SD" type of match (perhaps of the "unsanctioned" street fight variety). Either KO and Sami win and Bryan just moves to Raw to take on the Miz or Shane/Bryan win and Miz moves to SD in the post-Mania shakeup to set up the feud everyone wants to see. I sort of think they'll switch up the GMs after Mania anyway. Wouldn't make sense for Angle to stay on Raw after he and Ronda beat HHH/Steph at Mania.

Internet is saying WWE is talking with Hogan, presumably for a GM role?
Updated... could see the US Title getting pushed to the preshow.

i'd like to think WWE isn't tone deaf enough to try to bring Hogan back into the fold right now but nevermind yes they are.
also that's actually a pretty great card minus the 2 big snoozefest main events.

taker's biggest issue in previous mania matches been going against other big/slow/old dudes so no one can lift anyone or keep it moving. cena is still mobile and fun enough -- and he's capable of putting other dudes over in matches that should otherwise theoretically be shit.
so this one might be good.
also no harm in having taker win his "last one" because cena doesnt have a belt or interesting story to give up in losing.

He's too hot right now to leave off the show. I also feel pretty confident that the Women's Battle Royal is going to be on the main card. It wouldn't be a great look for the "Women's Revolution" to only have two women's matches on the show as compared to all of those men's matches and HHH has been pretty open that the goal is to make everything 50/50 in the near future, which was a motivating factor for doing the Mae Young classic. I'd guess the U.S. Title match would be the one to drop to the preshow in that scenario. That card actually looks surprisingly good as well. The only thing it's missing is a big gimmick/stipulation match. I'm guessing the KO/Zayn vs. Bryan/Shane match is going to be billed as some sort of unsanctioned street fight (you know, since only one of those guys technically works there right now). It would also be cool if they turned that tag team 3-way into a TLC match or something.
