He was hosting a thing at a breakfast place in Toronto that is literally a block away that I've never been to, with or without Foley. Made me part-sad and part-optimistic that he makes appearances for the little guys.
Having a total mental block at the moment on my work and want to take the WWE roster and figure out who goes where. Basically fantasy booking.
Also, I for one am excited for the weekend ahead of wrasslin', though 7-hours is way too got damn long.

Roman Reigns d. Brock Lesnar (c) Later, Brock.
Shinsuke Nakamura d. AJ Styles (c) This will set up a nice build-up to a rematch, hopefully at Summerslam. Triple threat first, then give others a shot at smaller PPVs.
Seth Rollins d. The Miz (c) & Finn Balor The Miz will likely want to take some time off (no house shows) to be with his new kid. I see Finn moving to Smackdown, leaving Seth the new IC champ
Rusev d. Bobby Roode/Jinder Mahal/Randy Orton (c) Give the fans a temp belt for Rusev. Short lived as Finn jumps over and takes it. Randy I see leaving for Raw.
Alexa Bliss (c) d. Nia Jax Great feud. Interference galore which sets up a nice rematch opp. Carmela will cash in too.
Asuka d. Charlotte (c) Keep her undefeated. Let her win and leave Smackdown with a nice storyline: WE HAVE NO WOMENS CHAMP BELT!
Braun Strowman/Mysterio d. The Bar (c) Don't see how Braun loses. Great angle for him and they'll take a page out of an old Andre the Giant angle- pair him with the shotest guy they can find for a tag team
The Bludgeon Brothers d. The Usos (c) & The New Day Not only do they win, they squash.
Ronda Rousey/Kurt Angle d. Stephanie McMahon/Triple H Makes no sense for the heels to win this one. Ronda has to win and win big. Asuka vs Ronda at Summerslam will be epic
The Undertaker d. John Cena He can't lose AGAIN, right?
Sami Zayn/Kevin Owens d. Daniel Bryan/Shane McMahon (Bryan turns heel) Makes too much sense here. Have Bryan turn heel and then become the primary heel on the Smackdown brand with Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn.
Preshow:
Mustafa Ali d. Cedric Alexander The most agile/athletic cruiserweight they have on the roster. Give him the strap and in turn give fans something worth watching with 205 Live.
Andre the Giant Battle Royal- Big Cass Great way to bring him back. Just don't fuck it up like you did Mojo and Corbin.
Women's Battle Royal- Ruby Riott I guess? Need a heel on Smackdown besides Natalya

Over/Under 4 NXT call-ups on WM/Raw/Smackdown between now and Tuesday night? As good as the NXT show was, it did feel a bit bloated and they'd have a hard time getting everyone on the show if they didn't have a 6-man ladder match and a 3-way tag match. Plus, Raw and SD will have plenty of TV time available with all of the part-timers disappearing again. Based on last night, I'm thinking Ember Moon, AOP, Almas and Drew (whenever he's healthy/ready). They could even throw Lars into the Andre Battle Royal if they're trying to build another Lesnar-type. |

Is there a rumor going around about someone returning on Monday?
I can't imagine who it would be and I can't tell if you're trying to drop a hint, though BIG Cass or BIG Show wouldn't necessarily be buzzworthy.

I literally hit send too soon on that one, my takeout arrived, ha.
Almas, AOP, Ember all don't seem super buzz-worthy like a Shinsuke or other debuts after Mania.
Anyways, I'll take the over. They'll probably bring Lars or someone random up, ala Apollo in 2015 or 2016.
Edit: I'm 0/3 but that preshow was better than expected.

I feel like they let the post-match simmer for a good amount of time before cutting to the Cena storyline, so I have no problem with it. The biggest issue is that there isn't a "shit match" on the entire card, so it had to happen at some point.

That Ronda match was way better than it had any right to be She needs a little work on her ring gear. And to wear less mascara. But she was otherwise surprisingly competent.
They could easily fuck it up, but a slow burn to a Mania match with Charlotte next year still seems like the money match.
