Does Phoenix really take the downgrade from headliner to sub? I know they're not a headliner anymore, but not too many bands come back as a sub after being headliner previously.

looks plausible outside of Phoenix dropping from headliner to the 5th listed sub. They have fallen off a lot in popularity, but yeah they are probably a bit low. I was tempted to put David Byrne in that spot , but I think he's Pitchfork bound. |

Phoenix still sold out the Aragon when they were here in June, they could still be a north headliner.

So if Pearl Jam and possibly Eminem are out I wonder who the most likely number #1 is?
I'm thinking Jay-Z though he hasn't announced any shows for 2018 yet or Depeche Mode since they are playing a ton of Eurofests and I could see them doing Lolla-Osheaga and OSL.

I feel like Depeche Mode isn't a #1, but I guess that Jay-Z is. If Kanye was supposedly booked for 2017 and then managed to get out of his contract due to his mental breakdown, I wonder if we get him for this year? This is entirely based on speculation and I know that it's probably useless to speculate on him, but it seems almost believable.

I still don't think Florence comes back this soon. She still played half a set last time, it wasn't a compete Muse/Lorde wreck like this year. I guess she's back in 2019.
I haven't been paying attention to Halsey's schedule so I don't know if she's ruled out, but she is apparently a thing now. I guess North headliner.

The guy on reddit who probably works for C3 or something has said that the lineup is really solid from top to bottom, and a couple headliners aren't finalized yet but a lot of the good stuff is done. Apparently he's leaving clues in his posts but "It will be a fun weekend. a headliner or two isn't finalized however." doesn't give me much.

Kind of surprised that all of the headliners are not finalized. From what I've read in the past they usually have them locked down by the fall.
