Jesus, another kid was found dead. He was headed back from the fest for the day and fell on the metra tracks and got hit by a train. Fucked up.

I wonder if these numbers are tickets sold or actual bodies through the gates. And I know it is minutiae but I wonder how they count the 10 & under (free) crowd and the volunteers too.

oh fuck we saw that. was heading onto the nb 90/94 on ashland around 6:30 and saw a huge squad of cops with the overhead tracks taped off :/

I never really noticed, but I'm guessing that's because the right side bridge is slightly a longer walk to get to than the left side bridge... It is if they have the top of the circle "closed" between sides walking to Harrison instead of Van Buren is an extra two blocks, but as soon as they see any backup whatsoever, they open the gap just West of where the big inflatable boombox was at the top of the Congress Circle, and you could walk to the other side with zero effort whatsoever. |
