The Vaccines are much better than I expected them to be in 2018 Edit: and they will be back in October Why didn't you expect them to be good? They've always had a great show and their new album is better than the previous two in my opinion. Can't wait to see them at Lincoln Hall in October. |

Only crappy part of the weekend was the shitty crowd filled with campers during Cigarettes After Sex set. They talked loudly through the whole damn thing up front.
Have to recover for a couple of hours now before I head in to the Metro

you can see the storm is JUST NOW legit hitting rockford but the wind as it approached was super dangerous.

Agreed on 3 day cause at least one day a year now is weather effed - storms or extreme heat. Did 2 and was very happy cause great music but yeah... But on the other hand 3 days may go back to the instant sellout for scalpers etc. So torn

Lykke Li was a godsend but otherwise this was objectively the worst day of lollapalooza in the history of lollapalooza and its hilarious this was the day I was comp'd in.

That Vampire Weekend aftershow was insane. Nearly 2 and a half hours and Ezra played four new unmastered songs off his phone (and an additional one with the live band). Took a random request from the crowd ("Mansford Roof") and Ezra passed out a wad of $2 bills at the end. Such a strangely awesome atmosphere.
