For my 9th (or 10th) birthday - I can't remember - I got a red Sharp jam box with 3 cassette tapes - Genesis' Invisible Touch, REO Speedwagon's Hi Infidelity and Wheels Are Turnin'.
I don't remember the first tape I bought with my own money, it may have been George Michael's Faith, or Lionel Richie's Dancing on the Ceiling.

The Offspring "Smash" on cassette. Bought from my neighbor for 5 bucks. My sister told my mom it had bad language so it was confiscated. I got it back somehow but don't remember.

Noooo - I loved this band, but never caught them live. "Central Park Blues" means a lot to me and my S/O of two years, amongst my 50 or so favorite songs period. This sucks.
Edit: agreed w/ Timbo tho, that new track was not great
