Not surprising. Wonder if Evolution Fest in STL will be able to get another sub-headliner on short notice for Sunday (less than 2 weeks away).

I've known Japandroids have been over for a while (even before they said it was over) but now that it's Joever for real I am extremely bummed. Was able to meet both the dudes briefly in 2012 and David again in 2013 and I'm sure I was one of the hundreds of young dudes who told them how much the music meant to them and blah blah blah. I am very excited for this album. I am very excited that Brian is sober now too and I hope that someone picks up Dave Prowse as their drummer because there are very few out there who sound like him behind the drums. I still own this shirt and it might be my only shot to get into heaven at this point |

And yeah similar happy/sad feelings about this. Pretty sure it was in the original announcement but bummed they won’t be touring, but sounds like it’s for the best. Now get Dave a fuckin’ green card so he can visit Canada again! |
