Suns lose half a season of Dario saric and cut loose a terribly long Landry shame contract and get back two 1 year contracts for competent role players next year as well as at least 1 if not 2 picks. Trailblazers basically get Kyrie for Simons and a protected first making them win now contenders and the nets gets younger with simons, get saric and crowder to beef up the bench and only take on one bad contract in Shamet who if he ever plays basketball again could be fine. |

Dame/Kyrie would be the most insane backcourt in the nba and Simons has years to go before he's realistically a contender player and Dame doesn't have that kind of time. Josh Hart sucksand the first is protected in 2024 if for some reason they dont get Kyrie back and stink |

Yeah I don't hate that trade for the Blazers - they're not going anywhere as currently constructed and the clock is ticking on Dame. Would be a tough sell tho w/o assurances that Kyrie won't just walk next year, right?
