Yeah I don't hate that trade for the Blazers - they're not going anywhere as currently constructed and the clock is ticking on Dame. Would be a tough sell tho w/o assurances that Kyrie won't just walk next year, right? If this team works I doubt Kyrie would walk and if it doesn't work they would have a ton of money to spend next season and not lose any picks. |

you could outright trade ayton/jae crowder for kyrie but it makes both teams make less sense. Mavs would have to leverage their entire team which is already foundationless for half a year of play. lakers have no assets. not sure how he would get one any of those teams would prob be pretty complicated

The Lakers are never going to trade for anybody because they suck and have no assets but it's hard to figure out how this was the best deal the Nets could get. Durant is gonna need to start scoring like 70 points per game.
Luka-Kyrie-Wood is interesting but DFS was basically the Mavs defense and they gave up most of their 2nd round picks it seems like so unclear what the game plan is going to be other than try to score 200 points.

First time I saw LeBron in person was like 2005 and I was 10 years old - dude was fucking electric for those bum-ass Cavs teams. Crazy that he’s still soooo much better than nearly everyone else and it’s fuckin’ 17 years later.
