Also y'all hear that CupcakKe album yet? Heard it's got some bangers I have a hard time listening to a lot of her music at once because it’s so graphic but it’s a lot of fun overall. She’s a great rapper and she really shines on these tracks. |

respect commander is fucking great. it'll probably be the only good jam on the new album because that's how he does things now.

i actually forgot about that one. it feels more like an interlude but i do enjoy it as a live jam.
i meant that the title track was the only song i really liked on the last album.
first solo album still has 3-4 good tunes i guess

With the worst of frontman Mike Scheidt‘s battle with life-threatening illness behind him, the band [YOB] are preparing to release a new album this summer. They recently recorded that effort at Gung Ho Studio in Eugene, Oregon with engineer Billy Barnett. They will release the effort through Relapse, who also recently reissued some of the band’s earlier material. Scheidt commented:
“I have many, many albums in my collection that have been released by Relapse, and I’ve been a fan of their releases for nearly 30 years. We’re honored and excited to release our new album with Relapse. We can’t wait to get back at it and share this new music with our friends worldwide!”

connected by love felt like the sequel to would you fight for my love with the keys and backing vocals. it's fine, but not great.
respect commander was fun and new while including his signature guitar. much more my speed.
