Judas Priest have revealed “Firepower” to be the title to their upcoming eighteenth studio album. An early 2018 release date is being plotted for that outing.

I only listened to Nikki Nack a couple of times. It was good, but Whokill was my AOTY whatever year that was.

Interview with Kevin Shields up on P4K. They started recording a year ago, stopped to focus on the analog remasters (which are out in January) then it's back to finishing it. He says 100% they are releasing an album in 2018. It started as an EP, then became a mini album, and now a full album. At least 40 minutes long, probably 7 or 8 tracks.
They will tour this summer. Calling it. P4K headliner.

Rivers Cuomo says the next Weezer album is ready, set Q1/Q2 of 2018 and will be called The Black Album. Obviously it's a track-by-track covers album of Metallica's 1991 self-titled release. |

definitely taking a more Public Image Ltd/Wire route than a Television trajectory which is what I was hoping/assuming they'd do. This is why post-punk bands don't last long. I hope Preoccupations doesn't go this route.
