A lot of the more gimmicky N&F releases age horribly and end up looking terrible so I’m always skeptical of ordering any of their weirder releases.

They have some really nice stuff but yeah, avoid the gimmicky ones. A lot of the textured ones end up looking like shedding dog hair and get “fuzzy.” A lot of the oddly colored dyed core ones just look like you got condiments on yourself when they fade.

No no no. Naked and Famous jeans are gimmicky and gross. I got them from Gustin, which means I won't get them until late fall or winter. Gustin's model is kind of annoying, but their jeans are made really well and are offered in interesting denims (like the grey silk blend pair that I have from them). Plus, the hemp selvedge denim jeans were only $89.
If I'm paying $200 to $300 on jeans, I'm usually spending that money on Nudies. Nudie has probably my favorite cuts.

How do you buy pants online when you can't try them on first? Is this a problem?

If I'm buying jeans locally and I want a nice pair, I usually go to Mildblend.
Buying from Gustin, though, can be tricky, so you really have to make sure to follow the guidelines they have for sizing.

You can't really go wrong with Levi's though, and $60 is fairly reasonable. Check your local retail stores that have the occasional sale on them. Once you know what fit number and size you like though, you can order them from anywhere. The Levi's outlet stores often have pretty good deals too. |

I generally go to Nordstrom Rack. I mainly wear Lucky jeans so I occasionally order them online too, although I've gone down a few inches in the waist the last few months so I actually have to go in to the store.
The Freedom card gets 5% cash back at department stores next quarter, I'm about to go pretty HAM at the Rack and Macy's next week.

Just ordered me some awesome tees from Buck Mason. I LOVE THESE TEES. If any of you want some nicer-looking plain-colored tees to wear with jeans or chinos, then you should check these out. The cut is nice and the fabric they're made out of is nice and soft and completely sourced from here in the US. The company has gotten a lot of good press because these tees are great.  |
