Boston in 5. They are too good. They could've very, very easily lost Game 1 to the Pacers if not for Jaylen's clutch 3 for OT. Game 2 was also way too close for comfort. I know they still swept, but Luka + Kyrie + Ant are going to give them more offensive trouble than the Pacers. |

This would be fun if the NBA went with a “to the victor belong the spoils” approach and the Mavs could pick one player from the vanquished TWolves to join them in the Finals. |

Luka's incredible (and thanks for all the fantasy pts this season) but I've long planted my flag as a hater because I find his demeanor so off-putting. This Celtics team is due but I'm a Sixers fan. Can't root for either so just hoping for close fun games and will savor either's eventual loss.

This is where I’m at. Kyrie is amazing but the antivax/antisemitic shit is terrible. For as great as Doncic is, I find him to be one of the most annoying crybabies in the league. And apparently the Mavs owner is funding a Trump super PAC.
BUT… Fuck Boston sports teams forever.
Will try to ignore all the above and enjoy the Finals.

I’m not a “supporter” because I’m in the board minority that wants Boston to win, but I wish every player 70% as good as Luka got into the drama of the game as much as Luka. He’s a little bitch but it only works because he’s good enough to back it up every single time. Why are we treating trash talk like a story?
If the NBA is gonna work to make every game maximum drama they need more soap opera superstars like Luka. I like him.

Idk man - this was pretty much my worst case Finals scenario, probably two of my four least favorite teams in the NBA. But at least the Celtics don't have the league's whiniest star + my absolute least favorite player. More positively, the thing I've enjoyed most about this Finals is watching Boston's team defense. They just play really fuckin' good basketball.
