I dont think anyone disagrees with firing him. He got paid 76 million for one season. The Celtics won more games this post season and the Pistons did in the regular season. It’s all hilarious. |

It’s all hilarious. i disagree tbh firing coaches after one year unless it's like, a jim boylen situation, is dumb to me - having constant roster and front office turnover makes them look deeply unserious |

Gonna be brave and take a third take here which is the pistons probably had to start over with a new coach but there also isn’t a coach in the world who would do a remoltely good job rebuilding around a player who’s ceiling is purely hypothetical

Side note: it seems like Williams maybe didn’t even want the job that much in the first place?
Also, I could maybe coach the Pistons to more than 14 wins next season and I’d be willing to do it for pennies on the dollar. My plan is to fake an injury, sit in the second row while my more competent assistant paces the sidelines, and run the team applying my fantasy basketball skillset. I will earn the players’ respect by arguing on their behalf with the refs vociferously enough to get ejected at least once per month.

Oof I was watching last night and hoped she escaped major injury but Twitter doctors were pretty confident it looked like an ACL on the video. Brutal. Bummed we won’t get to see her at the game tomorrow night.

Honestly fine with the trade. I'd rather a young established player like Giddey than mediocre picks in bad drafts.
Without SGA, there were times the last couple seasons that Giddey legit looked like the best player on the court when I watched the Thunder. Wouldn't be shocked at all if he puts up like 20/8/8 and is a fringe All-Star type player.
Sounds like a LaVine trade is imminent too, so Giddey will be a great tank commander as we go 28-54 and get a decent shot at Cooper Flagg.

this is the correct take. Thunder have SO MANY PICKS and the bulls had the leverage in terms of the caliber of player. Giddey was not the best from what I was reading and Caruso is on the up #selltheteam |

Who are people hoping for tonight?
If we stay at #11, I would love Jared McCain or Rob Dillingham. I'd be fine with Topic too assuming we're blowing it up since he won't be ready until 2025.
Ron Holland and Devin Carter would be meh but acceptable.
