yeah that seems like a ridiculous amount of VIP space for an already small festival.

For a festival that hasn't sold out in several years it's a an odd move to now push $700 VIP tickets that take up a large portion of the park

Aren't these two story things just going to be like a level added on to the soundbooth? Yeah nobody stands behind the soundboard anyway so I really can't imagine it being that big of a deal. Also seems like the VIP areas are in the corners up front, so not horrible. I know I sound like a corporate shill, but it really could be so much worse. If changes like this keep the festival afloat I'm fine with it.

I'm really not as worried as you guys are, those bleachers by the red and green stages have been there for years. Yeah it will suck if they block off more area in front of the stage for VIP, but I'm sure there will still be plenty of room to get up close. Only thing that will suck will be not having a view if you sit/stand behind the soundbooth, but that hasn't been ideal for years either

If they are building that shit directly behind the sound board ok that's probably fine. They should definitely build it so it survives like, Chicago summer thunderstorms either way

Based on that map, I hate that they got rid of the GA entrance on Ogden Ave./Randolph St.

I don't think I'm subscribed to this fest's text lists, anyone get any hints yet today?

This is on the subreddit. Seems way too stacked in the top 3.

Struggling with the fact Pitchfork mostly ignores the existence of Black Pumas, much less Alanis.

That Saturday is bonkers if real. I think I would pay face value for this. Black Pumas are meh but that Friday is really good as well.

But if real…..that’s the best undercard I’ve seen by them in a minute.

Struggling with the fact Pitchfork mostly ignores the existence of Black Pumas, much less Alanis. Yea Black Pumas as a headliner seems weird to me. They never reviewed their second LP and their first one only got a 7.0 Makes sense as a GQ-fest addition tho, so who knows. If this is real it's landing with a thud (despite how good the small fonts are).

Could be the worst festival lineup I've ever seen. Nicely done.

Leaving for the headliners each night, but I really like the undercard each day if it's real. I would bet that it is

Honestly don’t remember the last time I’d heard of this many bands on a Pitchfork lineup. I guess maybe that’s why it is a thud to everyone here lol

If that’s real someone want to split and take the Sunday portions of two tickets?

Weird that when Pitchfork books a real band (Black Pumas) everyone is a little down on the lineup.
My suggestion is to get to the Pumas set early. Let your self relax a little and let their jams wash over you, like a comfy blanket. Festivals are a place to get weird and the Pumas sound is weird and funky in a way that no other band is doing today.

If this is truly the final year for P4K, this lineup is kind of a whimper.

If real, Brittany Howard’s set is not to be missed.

Yeah it's frustrating to me (again, if real), because the undercard is tremendous. And tho everyone up top is mostly fine or good, there's no one I'm mustering up excitement to see, let alone travel for. (with a caveat that I caught Alanis in 2021).

Might be the worst headliner they’ve ever booked if true. And this fest booked R Kelly once. Saturday and Sunday are dope tho

Jessie Ware> CRJ would be the best thing this festival has done since Charli>Robyn in 2019.

Saturday is bonkers. The undercard on Friday and Saturday are good, but probably would only go a day to this thing.
