looking at old mod emails. found a spreadsheet sixtimes made of "board complaints" with only two entries. one is someone reporting nasty for mocking someone about being excited about going to their first after-show lol, and "this is why there's an alternate board."
i forgot there was an alternate board for all of the tenderhearts.

i checked the board for golden ticket tips/timing each year, but rarely posted. cmj refugees and sound opinions were my main boards until probably 2009 or 2010.

Also: MySpace was still a thing at the dawn of the board. And I hadn’t heard of Facebook until moxy mentioned it. You couldn’t just join back then, you had to either get an invite and/or use a college email address iirc.

The first time I ever met people from the board was June 25, 2006 when Chi, Six and Nana were all at Intonation in Union Park. some time prior to this, I met you when I went to the hideout to see one of your 3 bands play. it wasn't 950, because I saw them in Brookfield before you joined the band. |

I lurked on the board for quite some time, maybe since 2010? The first boarders I met were wretched and xam at the Anamanaguchi set at Lolla 2012.  I found them by using the grid maps that were put together to facilitate board meet ups at the fest. |

Joined in like June of 2011 thinking I was going to go to Lolla that year, I didn't. But would still post occasionally and kinda hated this place because how toxic it was back then, now I don't think I'd care. Got golden tickets for Lolla 2012 so I went. Didn't feel super close with any of y'all and was going with friends and family so didn't attend any meetups. First boarder I met was nikkirkpatrick since we were both Metro Detroit people. First time we met I picked him up from work to go to a Twin Shadow show with him. Board introduction was Bonnaroo 2013. I didn't camp with the groop but spent the majority of my time there. First boarders I met there were cg and thissy. Great times. Over 10 years ago! When did you stay with me, 2014? Nah 2015 |

I joined in September 2009. I was 16. I'm sure the old mods could find some emails about how incredibly problematic I was (please don't share) but this board, for all its ups and downs, is one of the best things that ever happened to me.

It's too bad that bracket I did in 2012 of "favorite boarder" is lost to time. I lost to hulk in the first round and arbee won the thing (I wanna say he faced genghis in the final but again, that is lost to time, unless kamera finds it in the wayback machine or something)

When did symb disappear off the face of the earth? That was the end of 3.0 IMO That was sometime between 2014-2015 I wanna say. He took like a 6 month break from posting and then came back to all of us fawning over him being back, posted semi-frequently for like a year, and then disappeared into Warpaint's tourbus the new york night I don't remember the name of the guy my girlfriend's best friend is marrying next month but I remember all this stupid bullshit. |

I first met boarders at the very drunk pre-party at Holiday Club in 2007, but I think I was active on the board for a year or two before that, which should make me 1.0. I think my greatest contribution to the board was the Drinking in a Hotel Room in Iowa thread (which I thought I archived from the old board, but I can't remember what I did with it). |
