I'd like to get an idea of who is still planning to do a list. I know there's some that need editing (cough, goodson, cough) and iasm is intending to put up a list, but can we get a shoutout of anyone else intending to do so? We just have fewer lists than last year, and if I have an idea of how many more lists are coming, I can get a headstart on the tabulating.

Hot Take : just relistened to Dirty Computer and didn't really enjoy it the second go around. Might be my vote for most overrated album of the year. Her other albums are much better

It turns out Shopping released The Original Body digitally on many platforms in December 2017, but the official commercial release seems to be Jan 19, 2018. Timbo and I say it's good for 2018 lits. Approved.

I think there are some phenomenal tracks, but there are a couple genuine duds. Its peak is basically as high as anything else released this year, but I have it at #26 because of its inconsistency.

Got about 50 more albums I want to get through. Been listening all week to stuff from critics lists or just various stuff pitchfork gave 8.0+ too. So far mostly duds or jazz/ambient electronic stuff that’s interesting but I’ll never listen to again. Some outright garbage I’m amazed made lists.

I love Dirty Computer. Only track I don't care for is I Got the Juice (tho it was fun live).
