Don't they have a show at the Metro this weekend? That info should probably not be posted yet.

If you don't want to click the link, they booked Dennis Quaid. I'm guessing Billy Bob's band was not available. Also Tonic. Remember Tonic? I saw Dennis Quaid play across the street from my dad's house 15 years ago. It was dumb.

I think Lucky Boy’s Confusion played a street fest last summer as well.

I think Lucky Boy’s Confusion played a street fest last summer as well. They usually do one a year. I think they were at Do Division last year. Speaking of Do Division, I noticed they are sharing AM Taxi with RVBF. Radius clause is dead.

there is literally one sentence about Dennis Quaid's interest in music on his wikipedia page and it just says "In addition to acting, Quaid is a musician and plays with his band, the Sharks. He wrote and performed the song "Closer to You" in the film The Big Easy (1987)." the next line is about how he likes to fly planes

I spent a lot of time listening to adult contemporary radio in my mom's minivan as a youth but I do not remember this band.
Edit: Released in 1982, before my time.

the difference between them and live Everclear is I think they literally only play the two hits from when they were popular its an odd set but they also seemed to have fans of their new stuff. i mean i guess i havent looked at an ever clear setlist i dono Tonic only had three radio hits though, and that's being generous if we're calling "Open Up Your Eyes" and "You Wanted More" hits. i count Open Up Your Eyes (couldn't remember it was by tonic, thought it was by Fuel)

I know I have a couple of years on you but I'm suprised you havent heard this song before - I feel like it was an FM top 40 staple for years. Martha Davis was the Dua Lipa of her day.

With all of the Star produced events announcing we should get the lineup for Pridefest soon. Also the Taste lineup was announced around this time last year.

The Mix and Lite FM must have removed this from their rotation by the late 80s. I do miss the days of Casey Kasem outlining the 40 most popular songs at that moment in time for me. Things were so much simpler then.

Gah, if Voodoo Glow Skulls were on Sunday that day would be perfect for me. Might still go for Ana Tijoux and Caifanes anyway.

new colony six on sunday at 4:30. would be interesting to do pitchfork -> new colony six -> back to pitchfork, so one could see Chicago legends ronnie rice and chaka khan on the same day, with a lauryn hill chaser.
