The indication that it's coming back is great, but I have a feeling it won't be The National headlining either night. I'd guess it's still curated by The National, but I'd expect someone like Sufjan as headliner.

idk i figured the whole point of the festival was to be like their version of wilco's solid sound where they would play every year along with a group of likeminded artists. i dont think they'll headline both nights every year, but you kind of figure they'll get together to play.
that's kind of supported by them starting a fan club now too. seems like they want to cultivate a wilco-like cult of the national.

yeah i imagine next year the lineup will suck less because they'll be less worried about selling tickets as long as the national is the marquee name

Yesterday was a blast. It was wonderful hanging out with y'all and I'm glad we did it.
There was enough that went wrong like our tickets being fake, the food sucking, and a couple of the crowds being lame, but the sets were all fantastic. The Feist set was so good, as was the Boxer set obviously.

My food option was driving to my host and falling asleep. Also the food inside the fest wasn't particularly bad if you got the right thing, just fairly overpriced I think. I got the taco bowl yesterday and it was good but just not $12 good. Everything else was just alright for the most part.

Ashley got one of the hot dogs an it was okay, too, but like $12. $8 for the Rhinegeist cans is dumb, but the prices for the big draft pours were fine. Ended up drinking a lot of beer, though. |

It was very unexpected for being both a small fest and also Cincinnati. Also despite spending a weekend there I still don't know where to put the double letters in Cincinnati.
