What events are you guys excited to watch?

I read that Peacock will have “GoldZone” whip-around coverage ala the NFL’s RedZone. Kinda psyched to see if that’s any good.
Mostly interested in men’s and women’s basketball. Simone Biles, too. Also at least moderate interest in volleyball, beach volleyball, water polo, field hockey, maybe skateboarding, and table tennis.
And I want to see if athletes get sick/grossed out/slathered in sewage when they do the triathlon and whatever that marathon swimming event is in the Seine.

Showed our kids some Simone Biles highlights and gd they're super hyped for anything gymnastics.
I'm personally psyched for track and people swimming in the poop river.

I love the Olympics. I'll watch everything I can. Even the normally terrible sports like golf.
But my biggies are beach volleyball, swimming, women's soccer, and surfing in Tahiti.

i think it was last year it came out that daft punk had been approached about participating. they declined, but the organizers said "if they change their mind even the day before, we will fit them in."
gojira is a fun choice, though.

Watching on Peacock is a legit wonderful experience. GoldZone is good, but I especially love the MultiView option. It's also easy to navigate and find other sports that aren't being featured. I was watching GoldZone and when they checked in on Greece/Canada men's basketball, a little pop-up appeared, allowing me to go directly to the game.
Kind of amazing to see a streaming service actually get something right.
