Has Coachella been on Easter before? It's the 21st next year. I've honestly never paid attention if it has or not.

Because I genuinely like camping, I’ve camped in the desert before and enjoyed it, it’s easier to rationalize the cost without adding a ton extra for a hotel, and also my understanding is that it’s fairly conveneiently located vs waiting in a shuttle line

Embassy suites in Palm Desert is actually cheaper than most of the hotels in Palm Springs for what should be weekend one. Thinking about a booking room at the flexible rate in case Kanye ends up on the lineup. Yeah just booked a room for 4/11-4/15. It is still like $200/night but nothing compared to normal Coachella prices.

I booked a room too. May end up doing an AirBnb in downtown Palm Springs again, but worst case I have a backup now.

Nice thing about Palm Desert is it’s only a 20 minute drive to the fest.

I'm in 4/11 to 4/15 now as well. Could've used my points to cut the price in half but no way I was committing to that this far out

Thanks for the reminder on hotel booking. I did a wonderful airbnb this year for about half that rate (for a party of 4 vs. 2 rooms at the Embassy), but having this in the back pocket is nice.

Star Wars Land or Coachella... choices I’d definitely go with Star Wars land, esp with the lineup unseen. That stuff looks fucking unreal.

I mean, Coachella is one weekend and Star Wars Land will be around at all times.
Also back when Rogue One came out a bar here had 'bantha milk' it was akin to a white russian but with curacao, it helped me get through Rogue One
